We finally get to Maligne lake. It is well worth the trip. We drive past the main tourist area and over a little creek, parking in a lot on the far side. On the way back to the main tourist area we stop on the bridge over the little creek and take these pictures. The tour boat makes a nice foreground.

Using the tripod, we take a couple of shots with the lake as background.
We go for a walk around the lake. There are several hiking trails and we pick a medium short one that goes along the water. Bin stops to check out the water, which is cold and very clear.
The trail took a bend to the left and climbed up from the water a little, affording another great view. We took a little rest here on a bench and took a few pictures.

We met a couple from England and they took our picture.
After the hike we stopped for lunch (our sandwiches from Jasper), then made our way back to the car. When we crossed over the little creek we couldn't resist taking a few more pictures of this spectacular lake.
